Full Job Description

Manage the warehouse personnel in order to ensure the best productivity, best quality of work and security of the personnel:-
-Lead and motivate the different teams under responsibility.
-Oversee the work of the teams concerning loading / unloading, preparation of orders, storage and shipping making available human and material resources, in harmony with the workload and contractual requirements
-Optimize the organisation of the teams work and ensure their motivation
-Ensure security of the personnel and goods associated under responsibility Enforce and respect company rules of procedure, the protocol and particularly the rules related to hygiene and security (HSE group policy)

Budget management:-
-Check exhaustive and one-time invoicing of his activity
-Check profitability of his activity
-Manage and ensure profitability of P&L

Oversee suppliers relationship
-Host suppliers, clients and outside enterprises
-Oversee the good execution of the contracts related to equipment supply and participate to negotiation of some purchases (supplies, packings, warehouse supplies)

Report to hierarchy
-Ensure the interface between the personnel overseer and his hierarchy and report this last about major anomalies encountered.
-Communicate with hierarchy about the indicators of activity and service quality operated via regular reports

Organize the work in the warehouse
-Delimitate the working zones reserved to the different activities according to flows and types of products
-Participate to the definition of the needs in term of human and resources material
-Check the good execution of the maintenances preventive and/or curative of the operations (especially relative to forklifts, rolling materials, IT equipment…)
-Keep watch over cleanliness of the store
-Oversee the security and goods preservation
-Organize and oversee the inventories defined in contractual terms and conditions
-Participate in continuous improvement of the procedures

Minimum Requirements

-At least 5 years related experiences in logistics or international freight forwarding
-Good interpersonal skills, commitment to customer service and quality improvement
-Team Player and possess good analytical ability
-Have excellent verbal, written and presentation skills & good command of English
-Proficient with office software
