Control and Clear all shipment timeously i.e. :
• Requesting Documentation from Importers
• Liaising with network for air and sea forwarding
• Estimates
• Checking invoices for correct charges and profitability
• Ensuring all forwarding documents received once shipment has departed
• Applying for SOB Details
• Making sure that all documentation tie up for customs clearance
• Following up customs Releases
• Arranging customs examinations “bookings etc.” for shipments that are stopped for examination.
• Arranging Port Health and State vet releases if applicable
• Controlling agent’s releases
• Following up CTO deliveries to transporters on vessels eta
• Arranging Transport , Unpack and repacks
• Following up on LCL cargo unpacks and making bookings for uplifting cargo
• Arranging and following up deliveries to clients
• Following up empty turn in dates.
• Arranging pods.
• Ensure accurate costing on file cover to recover all disbursements including storage / demurrage etc.
• Daily status reports and updates with clients

• Matric
• 3 -5 years of experience.
• MS office
• E-mail
• Experience working with perishables will be added advantage.
• Ship Shape system working experience will be an added advantage
